Terms and conditions
How enquiries, availability and rates work when you use this website.
Last updated: 7 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website and send a booking, event or general enquiry to Rwobuyenje Family Resort (the Resort) in Mbarara, Uganda. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
An agreement made online or by email can be as valid as a signed paper one under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2011. A stay or an event is also covered by the written confirmation the Resort sends you, as explained below.
Enquiries are not bookings
The forms on this website send an enquiry to the Resort team. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a room or an event date.
The availability, rooms and event options shown on the website may change. The Resort will check them and tell you what is available.
Confirming a stay or an event
A stay or an event is confirmed only when the Resort confirms it to you in writing, by email or by message, with the dates, the room or event, and the price. Please check the details in the confirmation and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
The Resort may decline an enquiry, for example when the dates you asked for are not available.
Rates and deposits
This website does not collect any money. Prices shown on the website are a guide only and can change. The price that applies is the one the Resort confirms to you in writing, and the confirmation will say whether taxes and service charges are included.
Deposits, ways of paying and the date any money is due are agreed with the Resort when your stay or event is confirmed. Please send money only using the details in the Resort's written confirmation, and check any bank or transfer details with the Resort through the contact page before you send anything.
Cancellations and changes
The terms for cancelling, changing dates and not arriving are the ones stated in your confirmation. Please read them before you send any money. If you need to cancel or change your plans, tell the Resort as early as you can through the contact page.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the laws of Uganda.
Guests and events
While you are at the Resort, please follow the reasonable instructions of the staff, respect other guests and take care of the property. You are responsible for damage caused by you or your group. Please supervise children at all times, especially near water.
Weddings, conferences and other events are covered by the written agreement for that event, which may add its own terms.
Website content
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate, but room details, facilities and event options can change. Please confirm anything that matters to your plans with the Resort before you travel.
The photos, text and logo on this website belong to the Resort or are used with permission, and they are protected under the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act, 2006. You may view them for your own use, but please do not copy or reuse them without the Resort's written permission.
Using the website properly
Please give true details in our forms. Do not use the website to send abusive, false or unlawful messages, to try to get into parts of it that are not meant for you, or to disturb how it works. Misusing a computer system is an offence under the Computer Misuse Act, 2011.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to services run by others, such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Resort is not liable for losses that come from relying on information on this website or from the website being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the laws of Uganda, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
The Resort is not responsible for a failure to provide a service that is caused by something beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather, a power or network failure, an outbreak of disease or an order of the authorities. If this happens, we will work with you to find a fair solution.
